Well, as usual, you’re dead wrong. I don’t “hate” Herman Cain. In fact, quite some time ago here I wondered why the MSM didn’t take him more seriously as a viable candidate. That was when he was polling in the low single digits and nobody knew anything whatsoever about the guy other than his seemingly credible C.V.
Now that we’ve had the opportunity to discover what the guy is all about, like many others, I’m completely mortified that someone so catastrophically dumb and ill-informed is currently leading the pack of jackasses running to be the GOP nominee for president. In that opinion, I seem to be on side with Karl Rove, of all people.
As for the ad, I suppose calling it “outside the box” is one way of describing it — another, arguably more accurate description, might be “a ridiculous piece of shit.”

I used to be amazed at horrendous TV adverts for car dealers and furniture stores that offended one’s intelligence on every conceivable level and yet… they were successful. So go figure. As H.L. You did not answer my questions, but that’s OK. That’s your right, my friend. But surely you can see that whatever you may not like about how our collective tax dollars are used, which I am guessing you consider to be legalized theft on the part of the state, you over-reach with statements like, “raping the treasury” — IMHO.
As for me, perhaps naively, I stand up for democracy which I guess includes spending money on things we don’t agree on as individuals, something I have observed elsewhere that libertarians seem to take to be the same thing as being Marxist.
