  1. Homophobic?

    What’s that mean?

    Dick Cheney hates his daughter?

    Is that what you mean?

  2. You’re trying to say that video is for “homophobes”.

My point is that most Conservatives believe the message.

Cheney is a Con. He has a dyke for a daughter.

By your definition Martin, he must hate his daughter.

It is possible to not want open gays in the military and still respect homosexuals? Of course it is. Just like not wanting Dalton teaching my children about homosexuality when he is 3 years old. Same idea.

As much as I despise globalist Perry, I think your trying to paint all Conservatives with the same brush. Not fair.

  3. You’re an illogical moron. My criticism (if one can call it that) was directed squarely at Rick Perry and his goofy anti-gay/pro-Xmas advertisement and not at all “conservatives” — that’s where your delusional lunacy kicked in and started imagining things…

  4. Yes, call me crazy, but I can be quite “bigoted” in regards to intolerant ignoramuses that should know better based on science, reason and a heritage of enlightenment, but instead choose to blindly predicate their hatred of others on the basis of idiotic scriptures derived from Iron Age desert dwellers propounded by phony preachers, hateful blowhards and cynical grifters.

  5. “science, reason and a heritage of enlightenment,”

If that’s the case, then 90 percent of the countries in the world are “intolerant ignoramuses.” Canada and a few other countries are just about it when it comes to gay rights.

I’m not religious at all, but I’m definitely not atheist like yourself.

Funny how homosexuality has been frowned upon for thousands of years, yet you make it seem like you’re the “enlightened one”.

I don’t get it. Most countries have ‘traditional values”. Am I mistaken?

Yes, I would say that 90% of the countries in the world have a lot of catching up to do in terms of tolerance and respecting the human rights of others. Canada should be proud of the fact that it’s at the leading edge amongst the world community in this regard.

I’m not religious at all, but I’m definitely not atheist like yourself.

Goody for you. As my kids used to say: “whatever floats your boat.”

Funny how homosexuality has been frowned upon for thousands of years, yet you make it seem like you’re the “enlightened one”.

Saying that homosexuality being “frowned upon” is putting it rather mildly. In many cultures it was (and still is) punishable by death.

I think you mistook my reference to the Enlightenment as something personal. It wasn’t that at all. I was simply referring to philosophical rationalism of the 18th century… you know, the one that helped give birth to the American Revolution and largely informed the thinking of the “founding fathers” of America, including your namesake.

I don’t get it. Most countries have ‘traditional values”. Am I mistaken?

Yes, most countries do have “traditional values”… So what? That doesn’t mean that these so-called values can’t be completely idiotic and irrational.
