Lifestyles of the “Job Creators”

Donald Trump has a winsome spokesmodel show off all the creature comforts of his luxurious new jet…

Isn’t it nice to know that the U.S. Department of Transportation uses taxpayer money to provide interest-free loans for the purchase of corporate jets? Even better, the draconian tax code right-wingers are forever decrying, allows Trump to write off the entire cost of his new jet, gold-plated sinks and all, in just 5 short years!

Yessir, life is a wonderful thing in our fabulous new “Gilded Age”…

Correction: As part of Obama’s Stalinist “stimulus plan” businesses are now able to write off 100 percent of “capital investments” (yes, including corporate jets) in the first year, rather than expensing the deduction over five years.

  1. You are I have concurred on this type of matter before; new “gilded age” indeed. And like the last one, what conflagaration will end it ?

I really think we are living in dangerous times. I think we are witnessing the final decline of the West …

  2. Trump truly cannot distinguish class from vulgarity. The worst part is that he sets the bar for many others. To contrast him with this clip from Buffett drives home Trump’s ostentatious obsessions. He’s just a rich punk with bad hair.

  3. Some people need to flaunt their wealth, whereas others like Buffett don’t (he lives in the same home in Omaha, that he bought in 1958 for $31,500). And he’s not alone. According to a private wealth advisor for Merrill Lynch’s Private Banking & Investment Group, “Many high-net individuals focus more on their businesses, running their foundations and contributing to their communities than they do on indulging themselves.”

Trump clearly isn’t one of those folks.
