Werner Herzog Reads “Curious George”

A brilliant parody of the classic children’s book as imagined to be read by the New Wave German film director.

I don’t know why exactly, but this is the funniest thing I’ve seen in a long time. It also has the potential for a lot of similar efforts; e.g., Green Eggs and Ham read by Naomi Klein or Jonah Goldberg’s version of The Three Little Pigs, etc.

  1. Willy

I heard he’s cast Johnny Depp to play George in the movie.

    Maya Angelou for Froot Loops.

…NBC has removed all clips of the In Living Colour sketch from the Internet, so this one is with a woman lip-syncing the part (played by David Allan Grier). I’ve always found it hilarious.
