George Lakoff explains how Democrats are failing to sell health care reform by relying on the policy issues alone. Democrats, he says, are not framing the debate to defend against conservative rhetorical attacks.

I’ve never understood why (with a few notable exceptions like Howard Dean, for example) the Democrats don’t heed Lakoff’s advice. He’s been hammering away at this point for years now and it always seems fall on deaf ears amongst most liberal politicians.
