Yesterday, Gov. Sarah Palin (R-AK) sat for an interview with KUSA, an NBC affiliate in Colorado. In response to a question sent to the network by a third grader at a local elementary school about what the Vice President does, Palin erroneously argued that the Vice President is “in charge of the United States Senate”:
As noted by ThinkProgress, “…while Palin suggests that questions about what the Vice President does is something only her daughter Piper would ask, Palin herself asked this very question on national television in July. Apparently, she still hasn’t learned the correct answer.”
At the annual convention of the Mortgage Bankers Association in San Francisco earlier today, a protester confronted Karl Rove on stage, attempting to handcuff him in what she called a citizens’ arrest for “treason.”
Why would mortgage bankers want to hear from a crooked weasel like Rove? Funny that.
That seems like a rather unintentionally ironic thing to say, coming from Chris Matthews, of all people. Ditto for the comment about “tribalist talk”…
Still, it’s nice to see him and fellow yakkers like conservative talk show host Michael Smerconish (who recently endorsed Obama, surprisingly enough) expressing their disgust at Rush’s race-bating antics.
This is how you fundraise.
Ah ha. CC had this up yesterday, but the video got pulled. So here it is (with annoying ads for Hulu, but oh well…)
