Not much of a surprise here — we’ve been saying this for the past six months, if not longer. Still, it’s kind of nice to see the assertion given some solid backing with facts and figures.
Of course, in the past, the Liberals were just as bad for this sort of thing, but that doesn’t necessarily make it right.

I find politicians always use the word “absolutely” when they know they’re lying and they’ll be called on it.
Wherever you hear someone in politics answer a question with “absolutely” you’ll find a bad liar.

Hey Red,
although I completely agree that govts reward the ridings they won and/or hope to win, there is one glaring exception. I get why the Tories piss all over Toronto but that the Libs did it their entire time in power (often both provincially and federally) has always frustrated the hell out of me. I know – the ROC hates Toronto so they can get away with it but why Torontonians continue to elect these do nothing libs is beyond me. Before I get a flurry of Kennedy admirers attacking me I will give him a pass federally since he has only been in opposition but he wasn’t too great for TO provincially.

One thing people forget here – Harper PROMISED to do things differently – accountability, etc. He lied.
